This tour included a night in the stunning Phobjikha Valley, winter home of the endangered Black-Necked Crane. We can also organised a range of add-on options to you provide the most luxurious and unforgettable experience of the Dragon Kingdom.

  • Hike up to the famous Taktsang Monastery, perched on a cliff 900m above the valley floor.
  • Marvel at the elaborate and ancient wall paintings and carvings in Dzongs and temples.
  • Traverse beautiful landscapes from lush valleys to dense forests.

Day 1: Arrive Paro

  • Arrival at Paro International Airport

  • Rinpung Dzong (A magnificent Fortress built on the heap of jewel) by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1646.

  • Paro Museum (Ta Dzong). It’s the National Museum of Bhutan housing some of the finest specimens of Bhutanese art.

Day 2: Paro - Thimphu

  • Enroute to Thimphu, visit Tachog Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries in Bhutan. The iconic feature of this monastery is the 600years old traditional suspension iron bridge.

  • Visit Thimphu (Capital city of Bhutan)

  • Memorial Chorten (Built in 1974 in loving memory of the Third King, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck)

  • Changangkha Lhakhang (Built in 13th Century by Lam Phajo Dugom Zhigpo)

  • Takin Reserve

  • Tashichho Dzong (The Fortress of the Glorious religion)

Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha

  • On the way visit the Dochula Pass, which consist 108 interesting monuments that was built as a tribute to the selfless service and visionary leadership of our Fourth King

  • Typical Bhutanese village at Sopsokha and Chimi Lhakhang, The Fertility Temple blessed by the Devine Mad man Drukpa Kuenley.

  • Halt at Punakha

  • Visit Punakha Dzong, the second largest and the second oldest monastery in Bhutan located at the confluence of the two great rivers, Pho chhu and Mo chhu.

Day 4: Punakha

  • Hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten built by The Queen Mother, Her Majesty Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck for the protection of the country and universal peace in the world.

Day 5: Punakha - Bumthang

  • Experience Scenic views

  • Bird watchting

  • Yaks.

  • Chendebji Chorten

Day 6: Bumthang

  • Vist Jakar Dzong, the largest Dzong in Bhutan.

  • Kurje Lhakhang , that houses the final resting place of the remains of the First three kings of Bhutan.

  • Jampa Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built by the Tibetan King Songtshen Gampo on a single day.

Day 7: Bumthang - Phpbjikha

  • On the way experience the Richest Flora and Fauna

  • Visit Gangtoe Goenpa, the Nyingmapa school of Buddhism.

  • Phobjikha Valley, one of the most beautiful valley also known as the marshland in Bhutan popular for its Scenic splendor and culture uniqueness. It’s also famous for globally threatened Black-Necked Crane - Grus nigricollis (usually seen during the winter season).

Day 8: Phobjikha - Thimphu

  • Afternoon, visit Folk Heritage Museum

  • Bhutan Post Museum

  • National Library, which holds a vast collection of Buddhist Manuscripts

  • Institute of Zorig Chusum (Thirteen Traditional Arts and Crafts)

  • Textile Museum

  • Handicraft Emporium

Day 9: Thimphu - Paro

  • Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Taktsang meaning, ” Tiger’s Nest”) that clings seemingly impossible to a cliff at 914m above the valley) Guru Rinpoche (also known as Guru Padmasambhava) is said to have flown to the site of the monastery on the back of the tigress and meditated there.

  • Visit the Ruins of Drugyel Dzong that is said to have built in 1946 to commemorate the Bhutan’s victory over the Tibetan invaders.

Day 10: Depart
