Day 1: Arrive Paro-Thimphu

  • Arrival at the Paro International Airport

  • Drive to Thimphu (Capital city of Bhutan)

  • Visit Memorial Chorten, (Built in 1974 in loving memory of the Third King, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck)

  • Changangkha Lhakhang, (Built in 13th Century by Lam Phajo Dugom Zhigpo)

  • Takin Reserve (The National Animal of Bhutan)

  • Tashichho Dzong (The Fortress of the Glorious religion)

  • Buddha Dordenma. It is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue of 177ft in height built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Fourth King.

  • Textile Museum

Day 2: Thimphu-Punakha

  • On the way we can catch the spectacular Views of the Mountain Ranges from Docholla. Docholla Pass also consists a cluster of 108 interesting Monuments that was built as a tribute to the selfless service and visionary leadership of our Fourth King

  • Typical Bhutanese village at Sopsokha and Chimi Lhakhang, The Fertility Temple blessed by the Devine Mad man Drukpa Kuenley.

  • Halt at Punakha

Day 3: Punakha

  • Hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten built by The Queen Mother, Her Majesty Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck for the protection of the country and universal peace in the world.

  • Journey back to Paro

  • Visit Rinpung Dzong (A magnificent Fortress built on the heap of jewel) by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1646.

Day 4: Paro sightseeing with Taktshang hike

  • Hike to Taktsang Monastery. ( Taktsang meaning “Tiger’s Nest’’ ) clings seemingly impossible to a cliff at 914m above the Valley. Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) is said to have flown to the site of the monastery on the back of the tigress and meditated there.

  • Visit the Ruins of Drugyel Dzong. It was built in 1946 to commemorate the Bhutan’s victory over the Tibetan invaders.

  • Visit to Kyichu lhakhang. It is one of the 108 temples built by King Songsten Gampo of Tibet in one day.

Day 5: Departure from Paro Airport.

Why are your tours so expensive?
In an effort to protect Bhutan's environment and culture, the government has placed a minimum fee of $200 per person per day for visitors to Bhutan – this makes visiting Bhutan one of the most expensive trips in the world.
Can you book a hotel for me?
Yes, we provide full package including transportation, all meals, guide, entry fee and accommodation at 3 star hotel.
What is your cancellation policy?
Bhutan Tour cancellation policy. Tour programs booked and subsequently canceled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows: Up to 30 days prior to the date of travel: USD 150 administrative fee per person. 29 to 21 days prior to the date of travel: 10% of the travel arrangement.
